Tom DeLonge’s got a story to tell, and it’s pretty crazy. The 39-year-old musician, who is no longer apart of Blink-182, is speaking out in Paper magazine on the existence of UFOs and his possible encounter with “aliens.” You might need to sit down for this one.
Tom DeLonge, 39, claims he was just as surprised as everyone else when the remaining members of Blink-182 — Travis Barker, 39, and Mark Hoppus, 42 — released an official statement telling the world he had quit the band. For the first time since that happened, Tom is trying to tell his own story and, more or less, claims that this split was not his doing.
Blink-182 announced on Monday, Jan. 26, that Tom DeLonge, 39, was officially done with the band. Even though he was quick to deny the claim on social media, his former band mates, Travis Barker, 39, and Mark Hoppus, 42, revealed in a brand new interview that he really did quit — he just didn’t do it himself.
Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus may be ready to move on with Alkaline Trio‘s co-lead vocalist, Matt Skiba, but Tom DeLonge, 39, wants the world to know that it’s not because he quit Blink-182. Here’s Tom’s side of the story.
