Tatyana Ali (born Tatyana Marisol Ali on January 24, 1979 in North Bellmore, New York) is an American actress, model and R&B singer. She rose to fame when she was cast as “Ashley Banks” on the hit sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. At the age of six, she became a regular child performer on Sesame Street starting in 1985.

Personal Life:
Tatyana Ali attended Harvard University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in African-American studies and government in 2002. She began to date Vaughn Rasberry and then the pair announced on March 31 that they had gotten engaged and were pregnant with their first baby.
