Sang Ho Kim (born Sang Ho Kim in 1949) was identified as the person of interest in the Sept. 25, 2013 shooting at Savenergy, a lighting import company in Garden City, New York. He allegedly shot the CEO/owner of the company and one employee, killing the employee. He fled to the nearby Roosevelt Field Mall following the shooting, causing a lockdown of the mall and surrounding streets and schools. Sang Ho Kim was described by police as 64 years old, with a business-related motive for the shooting. He is reported to be a vendor working with Savenergy, the lighting company in Garden City, New York that was the site of the shooting. His car, a white Honda Pilot, was found abandoned the night of the shooting in Sandy Beach Park.
