Rita Ora (born Rita Sahatçiu Ora on November 26 1990 in Pristina, Yugoslavia) is a British singer songwriter. In 2009 Jay-Z signed her to Roc Nation, and in 2012 she released her debut album, Ora, which shot to number one in the UK. She had three number one singles, making her the artist with the most number-one hits on the UK Singles chart that year. She was nominated for three awards at the 2013 BRIT awards, including the award for the Best British Breakthrough Act.

Best Known For:
Rita Ora is best known for her debut U.S. single, “How We Do (Party)”.

Personal Life:
Ora and her family moved to the United Kingdom when she was one year old, and she began singing at age six. She gained local popularity by singing in bars around London until she was discovered by a talent scout who passed her on to Roc Nation. In 2012, she dated and later split with Rob Kardashian.
