Rita is best known as a singer. She first had her breakthrough in the spotlight in 2012, when she was featured on DJ Fresh’s song ‘Hot Right Now’. Her debut studio solo album, ‘Ora’ went on to debut at number one in the United Kingdom in Aug. 2012 and it contained the hit singles ‘R.I.P.’ and ‘How We Do (Party)’.

Her second studio album ‘Pheonix’ was released in Nov. 2018, and was also a success. It had the hit singles ‘Your Song’, ‘Anywhere’, and ‘Let you Love Me’.

In addition to singing, she has touched on an acting career when she appeared on the British drama series ‘The Brief’ when she was just 13. She also appeared in the British film ‘Spivs’ and later ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.
