Bio: 
Richard Hatch (born April 8, 1961 in Newport, Rhode Island) is the winner of the first season of CBS’ reality show Survivor. He returned to an All-Stars season of the series and appeared on Celebrity Apprentice for one season. Hatch was convicted of tax evasion in 2006 an served a 51-month prison sentence. He will compete on season 17 of The Biggest Loser.

Personal Life: 

Hatch enrolled in Florida Institute of Technology, where he majored in Marine Biology and Oceanography before enlisting in the Army in 1980. He was then sent to the United States Military Academy at West Point, and served five years. He graduated from National-Louis University with a bachelor’s degree in Management/Applied Behavioral Sciences.
