Brace for impact, Vampire Diaries fans, because Mystic Falls is about to be hit with some huge bombshells. Janina Gavankar joins the series Oct. 18 as a mysterious woman named Tessa, and she tells HollywoodLife.com she “can’t believe” she gets to be the one to reveal so much about the Salvatores — including a “disturbing” message about Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) future, and a few game-changing surprises about Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) past.
“Every time I look at you, all I want to do is kill you.” It’s not every day you hear Elena (Nina Dobrev) saying that to Damon (Ian Somerhalder), but then again, it’s not every day that Silas (Paul Wesley) pays her a visit at school and gets inside her head. Sheesh, I thought Caroline (Candice Accola) was the roommate who wanted to major in drama!
Now that The Vampire Diaries season five is finally upon us, we have a better idea of what we can expect in season five. More importantly, we also know exactly what we want to see happen in the coming weeks, from a major doppelganger face-off to loose ends getting tied up in New Orleans.
The Vampire Diaries made its long-awaited return Oct. 3, and after the first hour, it’s clear the fifth season is going to be one of adjustments. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice Accola) are adjusting to college life, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is adjusting to living apart from his girlfriend, Katherine is adjusting to her humanity, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is adjusting to life among the living and Bonnie (Kat Graham) is adjusting to life among the dead.
You know, The CW really spoils us sometimes. Hot off the release of six enticing images from the Oct. 17 episode, the network has released four more Vampire Diaries preview pics — and this time around, it’s Katherine (Nina Dobrev) who finds herself at the wrong end of a gun!
Are you ready for “The Vampire Diaries: The College Years”? An all-new season of The CW’s hottest addiction begins Oct. 3, thrusting our characters into new and uncharted territory. By doing away with the Mikaelson family — don’t worry, there’ll always be The Originals — and by giving the cast a change of scene, I think EP Julie Plec injected the show with a much-needed kick; and in typical Vampire Diaries fashion, the premiere keeps on kicking from beginning to end.
Silas may be masquerading as Stefan (Paul Wesley) on the fifth season of The Vampire Diaries, but judging by the way Damon (Ian Somerhalder) has his hands around “Stefan’s” throat in this first-look picture from the Oct. 10 episode, I don’t think it’ll take long for him to figure out that something stinks in Mystic Falls.
