Cops Suspect Orlando Gay Nightclub Shooting Was Islamic Terrorist Attack

Orlando police and the FBI are considering the possibility that the gunman who killed 50 people and injured 53 others at a gay club was a radical Islamic terrorist. There are allegations that the shooter had ties to terrorist organizations.

When asked if the suspect in the shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida on June 12 had any ties to Jihadist terrorism, FBI Special Agent in Charge Ron Harper said in a press conference on June 12 that it was a possibility. Though the FBI and Orlando PD weren’t 100% sure at this time if the gunman Omar Mateen, 29, who killed 50 and injured 53 others at the gay club was a terrorist, though they have learned that he may have ties to terrorist organizations. 49 People Dead, 53 Hospitalized In Gay Nightclub Shooting In Orlando

Fifty people are dead and 53 injured after a horrific shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida on June 12. Police are currently looking for ties to radical Islamic terrorism in the gay night club massacre, which is now considered the worst mass shooting in US history.

One shooter (now id’d as Omar Mateen, 29) opened fire at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida around 2:00am on Saturday, June 12, murdering 50 individuals, and gravely injuring 53 others, according to Orlando police chief John Mina. The lone shooter is one of the dead, shot and killed by police at the scene. The mass shooting at the gay night club may be an act of radical Islamic terrorism, says the Orlando police department.
