Mike Pompeo

Bio:
Mike Pompeo (born Michael Richard Pompeo in Orange County, California on December 30, 1963) is an American politician who has been serving as the U.S. Representative for Kansas’s 4th congressional district since 2011. In 2010,  Mike defeated Democratic nominee Raj Goyle in the general elections for U.S. Representative, receiving 59% of the vote. In his re-election in 2012, Mike also defeated the Democratic Party with 62% of the vote. Mike has held positions in the Tea Party movement within the Republican Party and served as a representative on the Republican National Committee. He has conservative views on social issues such as abortion, health care, and gun laws. On Nov. 18, 2016, Mike was elected by Donald Trump to be his nominee for Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
