Bio:
Mike Fisher (born Michael Andrew Fisher on June 5, 1980 in Peterborough, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey center. He started his career in the minor league with the Minor Petes program. He was drafted in the 1998 NHL Draft in the second round to the Ottawa Senators. Mike played for the Senators until 2011, when he was traded to the Nashville Predators. On Sept. 7, 2016, Mike was named the sixth captain of the Predators.

Personal Life:
Mike is a devout Christian. He met his now-wife Carrie Underwood backstage at one of her concerts in 2008. The couple became engaged on December 20, 2009. They married on July 10, 2010 in Greensboro, GA. Carrie surprised Mike at their wedding by having one of their favorite singers, Brandon Heath, sing “Love Never Fails” for their first dance. They announced on Labor Day 2014 that the couple was pregnant with their first child. In February 2015, Carrie gave birth to their son, Isaiah Michael Fisher.
