Miguel Dakota (born Miguel Dakota in Monument, Colorado on January, 1, 1993) gained notoriety as a contestant on season 9 of America’s Got Talent. The talented artist auditioned for the show by singing “Too Close” by Alex Clare and all four judges sent him through.
Best Known For:
Miguel Dakota is best known for being a finalist on season 9 of America’s Got Talent. During the show he was often praised for his unique tone and for his heart-throb appeal. He gave amazing performances of “Heartless,” “Come Together,” “Seven Nation Army,” “Gimme Shelter,” and tackled “Billie Jean” during his final performance. During the Sept. 17, 2014 finale, Miguel performed alongside of Lenny Kravitz.
Personal Life:
Miguel Dakota received his first guitar when he was just 11-years-old, and he has never looked back! While he has big dreams of becoming a singer he was forced to drop out of college to help support his family, and at the time of his audition was working as a construction worker in Colorado.
