Lupe Fiasco (born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco in Chicago, Ill. on Feb. 16, 1982) is an American rapper. He’s also the CEO of 1st and 15th Entertainment.
Best Known For:
Lupe Fiasco is best known for his debut album, Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor, that received three Grammy nominations. His other albums are Lupe Fiasco’s The Cool in 2007, Lasers in 2011, Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1 in 2012 and Tetsuo & Youth, which doesn’t have a release date yet.
He collaborated with musician Ed Sheeran on the first single released from Tetsuo & Youth, “Old School Love.”
Personal Life:
Lupe Fiasco is a Muslim. He also has four older brothers and five older sisters. He was also named GQ‘s Man Of The Year in 2006.
