Bio:
Kris Bryant (born Kristopher Lee Bryant in Las Vegas, Nevada on Jan. 4, 1992) is an American baseball player in the MLB for the Chicago Cubs. Kris is a third baseman who also plays outfield and was part of the 2016 Cubs team that won the first National League Pennant for the Cubs in 71 years. Kris was named rookie of the year in 2015 then played in the MLB All-Star game in 2015 and 2016. Kris was drafted by the Cubs with the second pick of the 2013 draft and while he was drafted as a third baseman, Kris has also played first and outfield. Kris hit a homerun in the first inning of game 6 of the World Series against the Cleveland Indians to give the Cubs the lead.

Personal Life:
Kris was a biology major in college before switching to finance at his school University of San Diego where he also played baseball. Kris’ father Mike Bryant played in the minor leagues for the Boston Red Sox and then sold his furniture store so that he could help coach Kris. Kris is engaged to his girlfriend from college, Jessica Delp.
