Bio:
Koopsta Knicca (born Robert Cooper Phillips on April 27, 1975 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American rapper. He joined the hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia alongside DJ Paul, Lord Infamous, Juicy J, Crunchy Black and Gangsta Boo before the group dropped it’s debut album in 1995. Unfortunately, he was forced to leave the group in 2000 because he was incarcerated and therefore unable to attend concert dates and record new music. He appeared on eight of the group’s albums before leaving, and his tracks are also featured on three greatest hits albums that were released after he left. Following his exit from Three 6 Mafia, Koopsta released solo music, and reunited with some of his original band members to form DaMafia6ix in 2013. He died when he was just 40 years old.
