Julie Bowen (born Julie Bowen Luetkemeyer in Baltimore, Maryland on March 3, 1970) is a television and film actress. She rose to prominence with her work on television, starring on the dramedy, Ed, from 2000-2004. She was a series regular on Boston Legal from 2005-2007, before rising to great fame as Claire Dunphy on the hit ensemble sitcom, Modern Family. Julie has won two consecutive Emmy Awards for her work on Modern Family. She has also appeared in many films, including Happy Gilmore, Multiplicity, and Horrible Bosses.
