Jonathan Batiste (born on November 11, 1986 in Kenner, Louisiana) is a jazz musician, singer, actor, comedian, and bandleader who has performed in over 40 countries across the globe. He is also the Associate Artistic Director of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem, New York, and received his masters degree from the Juilliard School. During his career, Jonathan has recorded with many notable artists, including Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Harry Connick Jr., and Jimmy Buffet. In Sept. 2015, he will appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert as the the newest band leader in late night television.
