Jon Jones

Bio:
Jon Jones (born Jonathan Dwight Jones on July 19, 1987 in Rochester, New York) is an American mixed martial artist and current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Jon is regarded as the best mixed martial arts fighter in the world and one of the greatest of all-time. He debuted in 2008 against Andre Gusmao, whom he beat in a unanimous decision victory. Jon first won the title in March 2011 at the age of 23 and became the youngest champion in UFC history. In April 2015, Jon was stripped of his title and taken off official rankings after he was arrested on hit and run charges. In October 2015, the UFC reinstated Jon, however, his most recent fights have been removed due to doping accusations.

Personal Life:
Jon is engaged to Jessie Moses. The couple has three daughters, Leah, who was born on July 11, 2008; Carmen, born in December 2009 and Olivia, born in 2013. Jon’s daughter Carmen was named after his late sister who died of brain cancer before her eighteenth birthday. Jon’s older brother, Arthur, is a defensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts and his younger brother, Chandler, is an outside linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals. In March 2011, Jon and his coaches chased down a robber who smashed the window of an elderly couple’s car.
