Bio:
Joey Bosa (born Joey Bosa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on July 11, 1995) is an American football player. After playing football growing up in his home state of Florida, Joey committed to playing defensive end for the Ohio State University Buckeyes. He started as a true freshman with the team, earning All-American honors in his first two seasons. After Joey’s junior season, he declared that he’d be entering the 2016 NFL Draft. Joey was selected third overall by the San Diego Chargers. But despite being such a high draft pick, Joey almost immediately had contractual issues with the team, as they were having a hard time coming to an agreement. On Aug. 24, 2016, the Chargers released a statement announcing that Joey had rejected the “best offer” they could give, declaring that his rookie season was on the line because of the amount of training camp time he had missed. At that point, he was the only unsigned draft pick left from his class.
