Jeanie Buss

Jeanie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss in Santa Monica, CA on September 26, 1961) is the president and co-owner of the American basketball team, the Los Angeles Lakers. The daughter of investor and Lakers owner Jerry Buss, Jeanie grew up in the family business. She even posed for Playboy when she was 32.

Best Known For:
Jeanie is best known for her success as LA Lakers co-owner and her relationship with former coach Phil Jackson. She wrote a book about her experiences entitled Laker Girl.

Personal Life:
Jeanie married Steve Timmons in 1990 before their divorce in 1993. She was in a long-term relationship with famed basketball coach Phil Jackson beginning in 1999. The couple became engaged in 2012, but announced their separation in December 2016.
