Bio:
Jason Johnson (born 1982) was one of the victims tragically killed in the October 2015 shooting on Umpqua Community College in Oregon. Jason struggled with drug abuse early in his life, but he successfully completed a rehab program with the Salvation Army, completely turning his life around. After cleaning up, Jason wanted to continue his education, so he enrolled in UCC. He had just started his first week of classes days before he was killed in the bloody rampage by Chris Harper-Mercer on October 1st.
Best Known For:
Jason Johnson is sadly known for being one of the nine victims killed during the 2015 UCC shooting in Oregon.
Personal Life:
Jason was considered a trusting person who was very loyal to all his family and friends. Jason’s mother said she had been waiting twenty years for one of her children to go to college. He had a young nephew who Jason loved very much.
