It doesn’t matter what season of Teen Mom you’re on, everyone is one, big family!
Amber Portwood finally got the visit she’s been waiting for for over a month! Gary Shirley and Leah, 2, flew to California to spend some time with the troubled Teen Mom star at her rehab center in Malibu during Family Week on July 28. Aww, were so happy for her!
Teen Mom Amber Portwood has spent the past few weeks in Seasons Recovery Center in California, where she is being treated for her depression, addiction and anger issues. But although she’s making amazing progress, Amber, 21, is homesick and desperately wants to see her 2-year-old daughter Leah, whom she’s been away from since her suicide attempt on June 14. And reportedly, her wish is coming true!
In an interview with E! Online, Teen Mom Amber Portwood‘s brother Shawn admits that although Amber is on the road to recovery in a rehab facility in Malibu, CA, he wants to make sure he has more of a hands-on role in helping her overcome her issues once she leaves. That means she needs to let go of her old life in Anderson, Ind. and start fresh in Nashville, Tenn.
The show will follow Corey Simms, Ryan Edwards, Gary Shirley, Adam Lind and Jo Rivera‘s lives as teen fathers, since splitting from the mothers of their babies. Will you watch?
But Gary Shirley’s fun plan to let his daughter Leah share photos and connect with fans of Teen Mom might have backfired — he’s already being attacked by followers for setting up her account.
And friends say Teen Mom Amber Portwood broke down when the time came to say goodbye to her two-year-old daughter Leah, because “she’s terrified she’ll never see her baby again.”
