Emily West born Emily Marie Nemmers in Waterloo, Iowa on July, 9, 1981 gained her notoriety as a contestant on season 9 of America’s Got Talent.
Best Known For:
Emily West is best known for making it to the finals on season 9 of America’s Got Talent. Back in 2008 she also released a duet with country legend, Keith Urban entitled “Blue Sky.” Emily has also appeared on several shows including Are You Smarter Than A 5Th Grader? and an episode of, Celebrity Apprentice. During her time on AGT the singer performed, “Sea of Love,” “You Got It,” “Chandelier,” “Who Want to Live Forever,” “Nights in White Satin,” and “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.”
Personal Life:
Emily West is the youngest of four children, and always knew that she wanted to be a singer. When she was 18-years-old she moved to Nashville Tennessee to pursue her dream. Upon arriving in 2000, she was signed to Capitol Records and she released her first EP in 2007. Then in 2008 she released a duet with Keith Urban called “Blue Skies” that charted for 13 weeks and peaked at No. 38. In 2014 she auditioned for America’s Got Talent and often referred to it as her second chance.
