The July 7 episode of Teen Wolf went back to basics — to werewolf teenagers, to lacrosse, and to mortal peril. (Not that our intrepid heroes have ever really left the stage of mortal peril.) In “Muted,” we meet newcomers Liam and Garrett and the creepy mouthless dude from the trailers that is likely working for The Benefactor. Furthermore, a new supernatural creature is added to the Teen Wolf roster, and, as ever, there are homoerotic undertones ahoy!
Fresh from the horror that was Season 3B, Season 4 of Teen Wolf opens with our intrepid heroes in search of Derek Hale, currently in Mexico after being kidnapped, because it’s just not a season opener or finale unless Derek is experiencing some kind of pain or another. The absences of Allison (Crystal Reed) and Isaac (Daniel Sharman) are keenly felt as Kira and Malia take on expanded roles to pick up the slack, and it’s mostly effective. With everything you’ve come to love and expect from Teen Wolf — inexplicable rave scenes, casual murder, werecreatures, more mythology than you can handle, and a stellar cliffhanger — the premiere was a fantastic, if occasionally confusing, way to kick off the season. Check out the full recap and tell me all your thoughts!
The core cast of Teen Wolf — heartbreakingly sans Allison Argent (Crystal Reed) — are speaking out in advance of the June 23 premiere of Season 4 and revealing what fans can expect from the once-campy show about teenage werewolves which is now something that viewers legitimately cry over each week. Check out the video and read on for more!
Teen Wolf Season 4 premieres on June 23, and we literally could not be more excited. Werewolves, werecoyotes, werejaguars and weremiscellany aside, could there be a potential love triangle happening between Lydia (Holland Roden), Stiles (Dylan O’Brien), and Malia (Shelley Hennig)? Read on to hear what we thought about the premiere and tell us what ships you’ll be sailing for Season 4!
Who’s excited?! It feels like Season 3B of Teen Wolf wrapped just yesterday, when in fact it’s been two long, cold, hard months without our favorite gang comprised of one teenage werewolf, one lurking, grown adult, one banshee, and one “skinny, defenseless” human. Click through to watch the first trailer of the new season and tell us what level of excited you are from excited to VERY EXCITED for the new season!
It’s OK — we didn’t need our hearts. We were kind of hoping that the death that had been promised by creator Jeff Davis and the entire Teen Wolf cast had been a red herring, but nope. Nope. The threat was all too real. One of our beloved main cast bit the dust tonight, and it was as tragic as you might imagine. See below for our full recap and be sure to send your best wishes to the dearly departed!
It’s finally here! The first Maze Runner trailer was released on March 17 during a Teen Wolf commercial break where, not-coincidentally, breakout actor Dylan O’Brien has been doing some of his best work of the series’ three-season run. Set to release Sept. 19, The Maze Runner‘s first trailer did not disappoint! Click through to watch and tell us: are you dying to see Dylan in his first big-screen starring role?
