Deez Nuts is a political candidate running in the 2016 Presidential election. Deez became a viral sensation after a Public Policy Poll showed that 9% of North Carolina voters would pick Deez for President if he was running against Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Deez Nuts was revealed to be a mock candidate, registered by Brady Olson, a 15-year-old from Wallingford, Iowa. Brady filed the necessary Federal Election Commission paperwork on July 26, 2015. The candidate “Deez Nuts” was polling high in Minnesota, Iowa and North Carolina. Brady explained he created the campaign out of frustration with the two-party American political system as well as the frontrunners. Not wanting to see Hillary, Donald or Jeb Bush in the White House, Brady created Deez and the candidate.

Deez is an Independent, looking for party nominations from the American Populist Party, the Citizens Party, the Independence Party, the Justice Party, the Marijuana Party, the Moderate Party, the Modern Whig Party, the Reform Party and the Rent is Too Damn High party. Brady identifies as a libertarian, though he would also consider voting for Bernie Sanders in the 2016 election.
