Colin Firth (born September 10, 1960 in Grayshott, Hampshire, England) is an English, Academy Award-winning actor. In addition to his Oscar, Colin has received a Golden Globe Award, two British Academy Film Awards, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. He broke into the spotlight with the 1995 TV adaption of Pride and Prejudice and his role as Mr. Darcy in Bridget Jones’s Diary. He also grabbed hearts with his lead roles in Love Actually, Shakespeare in Love, The English Patient and A Single Man. Colin nabbed the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Prince Albert in The King’s Speech. Most recently, he has reprised his role as Mr. Darcy in Bridget Jones’ Baby.

Personal Life:
In 1989, Colin dated Meg Tilly and the two had a son in 1990 – William Joseph Firth. The two broke up in 1994 when he returned to the UK to further his career. In 1997, Colin married ITalian film producer and director, Livia Firth. They have two sons, Luca and Matteo, and live in both Chiswick, London and Umbria, Italy. Colin co-founded Raindog Films in 2012 and released its first feature film, Eye in the Sky, in April 2016.
