Cody Johnson (born in Huntsville, Texas on May 21, 1987) is an American country music singer-songwriter. After self-releasing six albums, and selling half a million headlining concert tickets, Cody gained the recognition he deserved when he beat the first-week numbers of acts like Martina McBride in August 2016 with his album Gotta Be Me. He has released six albums to date.
