Cheryl Tiegs (born Cheryl Rae Tiegs In Breckenridge, Minnesota on Sept. 25, 1947) is a retired American supermodel, actress, singer and designer. Cheryl is often credit with being America’s first supermodel, and was well known for her many Sports Illustrated and TIME covers. She was also famous for her “pink bikini” poster, which became a very iconic image of the 70’s.

Cheryl’s family moved to Alhambra, CA, where she posed for her first ad in high school. The ad appeared in Seventeen magazine. She got her big break at age 17, when she got her first Glamour cover. The same year she covered Seventeen, Elle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and more. Cheryl has been married four times, and has three sons delivered via surrogate. She currently lives in Bel Air, CA.
