Anthony Davis (born Anthony Marshon Davis Jr. on March 11, 1993 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American basketball player who currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA. Anthony was the first overall NBA draft pick in 2012 by New Orleans and is a three-time all-star. He plays both the center and power forward positions. While attending the University of Kentucky, Anthony played basketball for his college’s team and later went on to win Consensus National Player Of The Year.
