Tristan Thompson will have a lot to consider regarding his baby girl True after it was announced he will be joining a new NBA team once again. The pro basketball star is leaving the Indiana Pacers, after having played only four games, to lend his talents to the Chicago Bulls. With his latest career move taking him to another state, fans are eager to find out what his plans are for co-parenting his three-year-old daughter with ex Khloe Kardashian. A source EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife that Tristan is happy to be playing for a contender in the Bulls — but taking care of True will always remain a priority.

Tristan is all in on playing for the Chicago Bulls because they are actually going to be in the playoffs,” the source explained. “It will be a nice distraction from his personal life that has gone astray with Khloe, but he still intends to see True as much as possible.” While he would have had time off if he were still playing on a team with no playoff chances, such as the Sacramento Kings or Pacers, Tristan is now tasked with figuring out how to continue co-parenting with Khloe. “Because co-parenting is one thing they actually do right with each other. So being further away, it might actually avoid further turmoil because they will have to talk to figure out the next steps for True.”

Tristan will undoubtedly try to get his ducks in a row with True and Khloe as quickly as possible, as he was recently accused of not supporting his new baby with Maralee Nichols. The fitness model, who gave birth to Tristan’s son, Angelou, in January, claimed the NBA star hasn’t even seen his new bundle of joy yet. “Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support their son,” a rep for Maralee, 31, said to HollywoodLife in a statement. “He has not made any attempt to meet their son, nor has he provided any financial assistance.”

What it all seems to come down to is Tristan taking inventory of his life and making his next move mindfully, according to another source for HollywoodLife. “When it comes to Khloe, he knows that he probably will not be getting another chance with her ever again, so he has to figure out how to be the best father he can be and the best co-parent he can be,” said the insider.
