Kris Humphries soaked up the sun with Instagram model Neyleen Ashley to celebrate the new year, as his ex Kim Kardashian is reportedly getting ready to divorce Kanye West.

Kris Humphries enjoyed some R&R with Instagram model Neyleen Ashley in Miami Beach, just as his ex, Kim Kardashian, is reportedly taking the first steps to begin divorcing husband of six years Kanye West. The 35-year-old NBA star and gorgeous social media maven were spotted with friends as 2021 officially kicked off. The pair appeared to have a blast together, and they were captured spending time together while also enjoying some relaxation with a group of their close friends.

Kris looked completely at ease going shirtless and wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses while chatting with pals. Neyleen, meanwhile, totally stunned in her gorgeous bikini, which featured a top with intricate patterning and detailing and black bottoms. In another photo, which circulated on social media, the two looked incredibly loved-up while posing together wearing formal attire on the beach.

The pictures have surfaced as Kris’ ex, Kim Kardashian, is enduring an incredibly difficult moment in her personal life. Kim and Kanye are reportedly heading for a divorce, according to reports that came to light on January 5. “He knows that she’s done. She has had enough, and she told him that she wants some space to figure out her future,” a source shared with People. The outlet also revealed that the couple’s divorce seemed impending.

“He’s okay,” People‘s source also said of Kanye. “He’s sad, but okay. He knows the inevitable will happen, and he knows that it’s coming soon.” It’s surely a difficult time for Kim, who shares children North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1, with the rapper turned Christian artist. Sadly, it’s also something fairly familiar for Kim, as well.

This will be Kim’s third divorce. The SKIMS mogul’s first divorce was from her husband Damon Thomas, whom she was married to from 2000-2004. Kim’s most shocking divorce, however, was with Kris Humphries himself. The couple were memorably married in a lavish, televised ceremony in 2011. After 72 days of marriage, the couple decided to go ahead with divorce proceedings. Their divorce was finalized in June 2013.

“At the time I didn’t even — I just thought, ‘Holy sh*t, I’m 30 years old. I better get this together; I better get married.’ I think a lot of girls do go through that — where they freak out and think they’re getting old and they have to figure it out,” Kim revealed on Watch What Happens Live, opening up about her state of mind when she said ‘I do’ to the basketball player in 2011. “But I knew, like, [by the] honeymoon it wasn’t going to work out.”
