Amelia Hamlin’s Breast Reduction Surgery After Nipple Piercing Infection

Nipple piercings can be dangerous, as Amelia Hamlin has learned. Scott Disick ‘s new 19-year-old love interest revealed that she had to have a breast reduction procedure at the age of 16, when her nipple piercing got infected and caused her breast to swell. Amelia explained what happened on the Aug. 25, 2020 Skinny Confidential Him and Her podcast, but at time the model’s stunning admission about her dangerous eating disorder was were what fans focused on. Now the breast reduction conversation is getting attention thanks her hot and heavy romance with Scott. You can hear her wild discussion at the 46:01 mark below:

It all began with why Amelia can’t eat eggs. “When I eat eggs, I either get strep throat, or I get strep in parts of my body,” she began. “I was at Coachella one year and I had a nipple piercing and I was at a party living my best life with my friends,” when she got pushed into some shrubbery. One of Amelia’s friends grabbed her “and nipple piercing gets caught.” While she didn’t feel any pain at the time, a cut developed that became infected, and days later her left breast blew up in size.

“I was eating so many eggs that weekend. Every morning I would get up and eat eggs, it’s such an easy breakfast to have before going to rage,” she told the hosts. She eventually got home from the desert concert festival and and told her mom Lisa Rinna that she wasn’t feeling well. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star blamed it on going to Coachella.

“I had a 104 degree fever…my left boob was out to here,” she said. “I was 16 and had mastitis, whatever the heck that is.” Mastitis is a condition that causes redness, swelling and pain in a woman’s breast, but mainly from breastfeeding. “It was the worst thing I’ve ever been through. I went to the emergency room. They told me I had a kidney infection,” Amelia explained, which turned out to be a false diagnosis.

She ended up going to a special disease doctor at L.A.’s famed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, “And he was like ‘Yeah, you have strep in your left breast. So when I eat eggs, I either get strep throat, or I get strep in parts of my body. Also, I was 12 hours away from going into sepsis. My doctor told me I was going to die in 12 hours.” As a result, “I had to fully get surgery. I had to get a breast reduction,” Amelia explained, noting that, “The infection made my boobs so uneven.”

Amelia looks terrific now, and she sure caught Scott’s attention. The 37-year-old father of three was first spotted out with the teen while attending a Halloween party together. She’s definitely confident about the way her breasts appear now, as she dressed in a tiny bikini top made of edible candy. Scott and Amelia have since been seen taking romantic strolls on the beach, and put on a PDA show after having a romantic dinner in Malibu on Nov. 16.
