Let’s talk about the final episode of ‘Weeds’: Do you think the series ended on a high note, or did it all go up in smoke?
“It’s Time” couldn’t have been a more appropriate title for Weeds‘ series finale, which aired Sept. 16 on Showtime. After eight seasons of selling pot, smuggling weapons, and God knows what else, Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) and her merry band of hemp lovers have earned themselves a long retirement. But before the characters peaced out forever, we were given a long glimpse into their distant futures — and it was quite the trip.
‘Bring It On’ actress Lindsay and her husband welcomed daughter Maxwell Lue on Jan. 19!
Congratulations are in order for Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Lindsay Sloane! After debuting her baby bump last summer, the 34-year-old actress gave birth to daughter Maxwell Lue on Jan. 19. This is the first child for Sloane and her hubby, Dar Rollins, an agent.
We’re hoping new beginnings for Nancy will be the jump-start this ailing series needs!
I love the first two seasons of Weeds, but lately I feel as though I’ve been watching it out of a sense of devotion for bygone years. As the June 27 season 7 opener begins, Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) and her family’s exploits have grown more and more ludicrous — and it’s been hard to identify with a woman who can just sleep her way out of the most dire situation. But luckily, this season starts with a shocking jolt the series could use to get fresh again. Some big SPOILERS from the first episode lie ahead!
Will YOU tune in tonight for Nancy’s post-prison shenanigans?
Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) may have spent the past three years in prison, but don’t expect to see the iced-coffee fiend emerge a changed woman when Weeds returns for its seventh season. “She’s emotionally unscathed,” Mary-Louise says of Nancy, who finally gets released on tonight’s premiere. “She’s affected, but not wildly rearranged.”
With her award nominated role on the hit series Weeds, Elizabeth Perkins is sure to rack up a few more Emmy and Golden Globe nods this year!
Elizabeth Perkins has been featured in movies such as Big, The Flinstones and Must Love Dogs. But more recently she has made people notice her as Celia Hodes, an alcoholic and image-obsessed PTA mother on Showtime‘s hit series Weeds, starring Mary Louise Parker. Elizabeth has been nominated for 3 Emmys, 2 Golden Globes, and 2 Screen Actors Guild awards for her performance on the show, which will end after the fifth season.
We spoke to the talented mom-of-two at the NYC premiere of her new action flick Red, and she told us her kiddies got so upset as they watched her leave for her big night!
No more wild nights for Mary-Louise Parker! The 47-year-old actress might be glam from head-to-toe on red carpets but she runs straight home to put her two kids, William, 6, and Caroline, 3, to bed! Mary-Louise spoke to HollyBaby.com at the NYC premiere of her new film, Red, hosted by The Cinema Society & OC Concept at the MOMA on Oct. 3. We asked her how she manages to juggle a busy career and two kids, and it turns out it’s just as hard for a Hollywood mom as it is for the rest of us!
For six seasons, we’ve watched Andy and Nancy flounder around their feelings for each other…but will they ever just admit they’re in love? Watch this video to find out!
The sixth season of one of our most favorite dark comedies, Weeds, returned last week, and already Nancy (Mary Louise Parker) and Andy Botwin (Justin Kirk) are up to their usual flirtatious antics…only this time we wonder if their sordid affair is going to last.

The singer told her doctor that there was no way she was expecting a baby — boy, was she wrong! And with the revelation that she’s five months pregnant, it looks like there’s been another shotgun wedding in Hollywood!
OMG, Alanis Morissette, you must have been in total denial about your pregnancy! Didn’t you notice the signs, like, say, being late or feeling a little bloated? Uh, we guess not. The singer revealed on Chelsea Lately last night that, while her body was sending signals, she wasn’t listening. The 36-year-old, who is expecting her baby in December, told Chelsea Handler that even when her doctor told her that she was pregnant, she didn’t believe him.
