Bio:
Rob Morrison (born on May 17, 1968) started his career as a combat correspondent for the US Marine Corps. In 1999 he began working at WNBC and he was a co-anchor on Today in New York and Weekend Today. He left the station in 2008 and began writing a blog called Daddy Diaries, Confessions of a Stay at Home Anchorman, but in 2009 he joined WCBS and anchored the morning and evening weekend newscasts. In December of 2010 he was named co-anchor of CBS 2 News This Morning but on Feb. 20, 2013 he resigned. It all happened because he was arrested at his home on Feb. 17 and was charged with second-degree strangulation for allegedly choking his wife. He posted $100K bond and is ordered to stay 100 yars away from his wife Ashley Morrison.
