Victoria’s (Madeleine Stowe) got a gun! The Feb. 10 episode of Revenge began with a flashback to the past of what was meant to be: Jack (Nick Wechsler) and real Amanda (Emily VanCamp) as kids — planning a wedding! But we all know how that worked out. Thanks, Faux-manda. Thanks a lot.

Speaking of Faux-manda, she went to the Graysons’ for help with Stowaway problems and, of course, Emily had to bail her out again with a check containing way too many zeroes.

Despite all the problems in the Hamptons surrounding the Porter family, there was a wedding to be had — and Jack finally shaved! My heart shattered as tears fell down Emily’s face at Jamanda’s wedding, and I almost cried when Emily gave Amanda a memento of her and Jack’s wedding as children. But when all was said and done, Faux-manda dug her own grave by blackmailing Conrad (Henry Czerny) with video files she stole from Emily’s stash of revenge evidence.

Victoria tried to prove to Daniel (Joshua Bowman) that The Initiative was setting him up, and even had a bitch-on-bitch showdown with Helen Crowley, the head of The Initiative. Helen threatened to take Daniel away from Victoria if she didn’t hand over the evidence from flight 197, so Victoria… well, she shot her in cold blood!

In other sad news, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) discovered Aiden’s sister actually died 6 years ago, and there was even autopsy confirmation of her death! Aiden is now more capable than ever of revenge against The Initiative, and he was pushing away the one person who knows more about vengeance than he ever will!

To put the icing on Emily’s heartbroken cake, Daniel broke things off with her, claiming it wasn’t the best time to rekindle their relationship. In the end, Aiden came to his senses and apologized, and they cuddled by a fire. Personally, I think it’s best to have a sweet, endearing moment right before The Amanda explodes on next week’s episode!

The Jan. 20 episode of Revenge got pretty heated when Emily (Emily VanCamp) and Daniel (Joshua Bowman) flew off to Los Angeles, as Helen Crowley ordered Aiden to kill Victoria (Madeleine Stowe). You know, just the usual Revenge drama.

Daniel had a meeting with Stonehaven, a disaster-relief company Grayson Global wished to procure, and he needed his lucky charm — aka his ex-fiancé Emily — by his side. Daniel also had a little pleasure in mind for the trip, but his getaway was quickly ruined by Victoria. She showed up to make sure Jason secured Stonehaven in order to protect her son, all the while unaware that Aiden had also arrived — to kill her! Helen suggested Aiden’s sister was still alive, and in order to get her back, he must kill the Queen of the Hamptons.

Initially, Mr. Procer dropped out of the running because Aiden revealed that whoever gained Stonehaven would also acquire a nice lawsuit as a party favor. To guarantee that Jason stayed in the running for the business, Victoria offered herself as his true prize. In the end, with the help of some dirt-digging from Nolan (Gabriel Mann), Daniel secured the company, and his head grew three sizes that day. Oh, and no worries, Emily stopped Aiden from killing Victoria. Whew, that was a close call!

The case against Jack (Nick Wechsler) started to get more complicated, so obviously, it was Conrad (Henry Czerny) and his checkbook to the rescue! The police found a gun aboard Jack’s boat and they accused him of murdering Joe Ryan — the Ryan brothers’ father — but Conrad had a confession from his actual killer, Mr. Duncan. Conrad offered the brothers a $50,000 check for just a simple signature and a departure from the Hamptons in return.

On a lighter note, everyone almost forgot Charlotte’s (Christa B. Allen) birthday, or canceled plans to celebrate; and as a birthday gift to herself, Charlotte changed her last name from “Grayson” to “Clarke.” Shockingly, Emily admitted her alliance with Victoria to Daniel — and even MORE shockingly, Daniel knew what was going on! He just pushed to see how far Emily would go to help him. (Now you’re learning, Daniel. Now you’re learning.)

In other news, due to an amateur slip up, Nolan figured out that Padma was playing him like a fiddle, and he played her right back! He planted a fake flash drive to the program, Carrion, that she’d been searching for while spying for The Initiative, and he caught her uploading the file — hook, line and sinker. It seemed like everyone in the Hamptons was having a hard time trusting each other, and Aiden was no exception. He received footage from The Initiative of his sister’s death from a drug overdose, and threatened to blame everything on Emily if it turned out she actually died. Fingers crossed that she’s still alive! You can’t be mad at Emily Thorne. You just can’t.

Revenge returns Feb. 10, when we’ll see scenes from the first episode of season two. Plus, Jack and Amanda will have their wedding, and — wait for it — someone will die protecting Emily Thorne! Any guesses?

Since Daniel (Josh Bowman) has been a pawn in the Initiative’s game of evilness, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) cooked up a plan to grab her son’s attention once again — and she turned to one of her worst enemies, Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp), for help! Looks like even the Graysons will do whatever it takes to protect family.

Emily and Aiden had a public “fake-up” (aka fake breakup), and guess who just happened to be present? Daniel Grayson, of course! Does this kid really think that everything in life will go his way?

Conveniently, Emily was invited to a dinner with the Graysons, and she took the opportunity to confront the judge who presided at her father’s trial. This informative dinner also led Emily to the person who actually wrote David a letter while in prison. It was initially assumed that James Palmer, Judge Barnes’ court clerk, wrote David a letter with information that would have resulted in a mistrial due to a tainted jury. But the judge’s wife, Patricia, informed everyone that she wrote the letter and that she’s been abused by her husband! (That’s one more face Emily Thorne got to cross out with her red Sharpie.)

Jack (Nick Weschler) finally realized that the Ryan brothers were bad news, and when he found out they were using The Stowaway to move drugs, he called on his friend in law enforcement to bust them! Unfortunately, his plan kind of backfired, as the police found nothing that led to the Ryan brothers — and they arrested Jack for possession!

Using his skills to break into Grayson Global’s computer system, Nolan discovered footage that led Aiden to Helen Crowley, a member of the Initiative. She wanted to manipulate him just like everyone else in the Hamptons, and Helen used his sister (who is actually alive!) as bait. What exactly does the Initiative want from Aiden?

Daniel asked Emily to help steer the company into the “right” direction, and she accepted his offer, using the power of a kiss to her advantage! Will Aiden be overcome with jealousy?

On the Dec. 2 episode of Revenge, everyone in the Hamptons was on edge before the voting that would determine the new CEO of Grayson Global. A new face in town named Salvador was the swing vote, and while he initially leaned towards Daniel (Joshua Bowman), the Graysons had a plan to protect their son from replacing Conrad (Henry Czerny), thus protecting him from The Initiative.

Thanks to Marco — Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) former employee and ex-boyfriend — Daniel gained 51 percent of NolCorp after blackmailing and threatening Nolan with a criminal investigation based on the missing $500 million! After hearing the news, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) turned the tables on her son after Nolan delivered a sex tape of Ashley (Ashley Madekwe) and Conrad. By promising not to tell Daniel, Victoria manipulated her to sleep with Salvador in order to secure his vote for Conrad. Man, Ashley sure gets around!

Because all things must go Emily Thorne’s (Emily VanCamp) way, Aiden lured Daniel to Salvador’s room, where he found Ashley and photographed them in nothing but bathrobes. After Daniel threatened to show the picture to his wife, who controlled his money, Salvador promised his vote — and he won the CEO position at Grayson Global!

The Ryan brothers — the business partners who are supposedly helping Jack (Nick Weschler) and Declan (Connor Paolo) believed that Jack’s dad murdered their father, but he only covered for his friend Matt Duncan (as seen in last week’s flashback episode). All along, their plans were set in motion in order to get a little payback with the Porter family. However, it was Mr. Duncan who suffered a severe beating from the Ryans, landing him in the hospital.

Despite his parents’ warnings, Daniel gained the CEO position at Grayson Global, and he’s now a pawn in the Initiative’s game of domination. Nolan also has more control over Daniel and the company than he realized. Along with Emily, he planned to control Grayson Global from the inside.

Finally, the shock of a lifetime occurred occurred, setting up an interesting twist for the show’s January return: Emily Thorne and Victoria Grayson… will become partners! Emily will have leverage and Victoria will manipulate Daniel — who is still head over heels for Miss Thorne — in order to protect him.

Can’t wait for January, right?

The Nov. 25 episode of Revenge flashed back to Thanksgiving 2006, when Emily (Emily VanCamp) first planned her revenge on the Graysons, and when Victoria’s (Madeleine Stowe) mother Marion took the crown for biggest b***h in town. But before taking action against her worst enemies, Emily completed a risky mission for Takeda — and gained an ally.

Posing as a prostitute, Emily set the groundwork for Takeda to eliminate a man involved in sex trafficking, which is where she met Aiden (Barry Sloane) for the the first time. After he was captured by Dimitri, the man who took his sister, Emily tried to rescue Aiden, but both were caught and held at gunpoint. In true Emily fashion, she kicked some serious butt — in heels, might I add — and everyone managed to escape, except Dimitri, who Aiden shot in cold blood!

Back at NolCorp, half a billion dollars disappeared from the company, and Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) boyfriend Marco refused to accept Nolan’s lies about where the money had gone. Even though he tried to do what was right and give the money to Amanda, Nolan lost someone important to him, as well as someone with a score of his own to settle! Meanwhile at the Stowaway, Jack’s (Nick Weschler) father dug himself farther into debt, and we discovered his secret: his friend shot a man who had been looking to collect his money!

The Grayson family Thanksgiving table was complete with a turkey and all the fixings, but the family love was no where to be found. Another flashback to Thanksgiving-past revealed that when Marion’s husband threatened to leave, she coaxed Victoria to shoot him and take the blame since no jury would ever convict her. (Not to mention that Marion chose a pedophile over her own daughter, who she threw out of the house.)

Victoria said it perfectly when she told her mother she learned from the best, because everything was a set-up! Victoria paid the new man her mother invited for Thanksgiving, set up their meeting on a cruise and even acted like they didn’t know him at the Grayson holiday dinner — only to ruin her mother’s life just like she’d ruined hers. The title of the show becomes more appropriate with every episode.

Flash forward to present day: Aiden has taken Daniel’s (Joshua Bowman) place in Emily’s — scratch that, Amanda‘s — bed; Daniel sneakily called Marco, Nolan’s ex-boyfriend and NolCorp employee; and the Graysons planned to keep Daniel away from Grayson Global… for his own safety.

On the Nov. 11 episode of Revenge, Mason Treadwell (Roger Bart) came up with his wackiest theory yet: Emily (Emily VanCamp) and Amanda (Margarita Levieva) were… lovers! Amanda fed him a bogus story, claiming Emily was obsessed with her during their time at Alleywood and that she was her stalker. She also attempted to kill him, only to be stopped by Emily — who finally spilled her secret!

Back at Grayson Manor, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) and Conrad (Henry Czerny) were determined to stand up to The Initiative, while Daniel (Joshua Bowman) went snooping for David Clarke’s record of personal investments. However, as usual, Emily was one step ahead. She told Aiden to help Daniel take over Grayson Global in order to draw out The Initiative, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) handed over David’s original check to NolCorp to Aiden, allowing everything to fall perfectly into Emily’s hands. During an investor luncheon, as Conrad gave a bogus speech about how thankful he was for the powerful people around him, Daniel plotted with members of The Initiative to replace his father as CEO.

While Emily tried to take care of Mason Treadwell, her plans — basically for the first time ever — went totally awry. She manipulated Mason to tell Kara Clarke, who was supposed to be leaving town anyway, that he had urgent information about Gordon Murphy and that she needed to take off immediately. However, Mason took it upon himself to tell Kara that her David was merely a victim, and that the Graysons paid him to tell lies. Since Kara was off her medication, needless to say, things got a little crazy!

She snuck into Grayson Manor and pulled a gun on Victoria and Conrad, the the two people who framed David for being a terrorist! At Kara’s request for a confession, the terrified couple told her how The Initiative planned to blame Conrad for the fall of Flight 197, so he made a deal to frame David instead. Aiden stopped her from killing the Graysons at the last minute, and Emily arranged for her mother to finally — no, really — disappear.

Let’s face it: Mason dug his own grave when he tried to mess with Emily! She framed him for Gordon’s murder and had him arrested. Emily told him he was to give a full confession and serve time for the murder, since she has the one thing that could someday set him free: her confession about being Amanda and her plot for revenge! Obviously, Mason couldn’t turn down an offer to write THE BOOK OF THE CENTURY, so he confessed.

But just when we thought things were finally calming down in the Hamptons, Emily and Aiden finally shared their inevitable passionate kiss!

Revenge returns with a Thanksgiving episode Nov., when we can all give thanks for Emily Thorne’s master plan of Revenge — and that we don’t have a family like the Graysons!

Kara (Jennifer Jason Leigh) was back in the Hamptons on the Oct. 28 episode of Revenge — and shacking up with the Graysons! Considering Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) thought she’d gotten rid of her enemy a long time ago, you can imagine the look of pure shock on her face when Kara stepped foot in Grayson Manor. (And those two redefined the ‘awkward hug.’)

Victoria offered Kara a place to stay, but only to keep an eye on her. (It’s not like she could actually have made a nice gesture!) Victoria and Conrad (Henry Czerny) were shaking in their boots now that the one person who could ruin them forever was back in town, so they concocted a plan… to get married! Yes, the Graysons wanted to publicly display their marriage and agree not to testify against each other in court. How sweet!

Meanwhile, Aiden investigated and attempted to take down Grayson Global by posing as Takeda’s proxy. During his mission, someone appeared interested in David Clarke’s contract at the company — and that someone was Padma, Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) new friend and CFO. She hoped NolCorp hadn’t invested while David was an employee, since they didn’t want a terrorist handling their finances. The only problem was that Nolan’s Company had not invested in Grayson Global at all. David had an exclusivity clause, meaning he could work only for Grayson Global, and now they had a controlling interest in NolCorp. In other words, Daniel (Joshua Bowman) actually did something right by discussing money matters with Aiden! (Because who really thought Daniel even understood the basics of the company? Let’s face it, he just looks really good in a suit.)

Meanwhile, EVERYONE in the Hamptons was crying. Amanda (Margarita Levivera) finally came out of her coma and saw her baby boy, the only innocent being left in town. She also talked with Kara, who told her that she wasn’t in control of her actions — aka drowning her own daughter — for the longest time due to being crazy. Listening outside of the room, Emily’s (Emily VanCamp) eyes filled with tears as her mother apologized to Amanda. If David could forgive her for drowning their daughter, surely she could forgive her too; and according to Emily, she wanted to forgive her mother.

Since everyone decided to be mushy and tell the truth, Emily confessed that she lied about Jack (Nick Weschler) being the father of her baby in order to keep Amanda on her side!

If things weren’t bad enough, Mason Treadwell (Roger Bart) was back — and whistling — in the Hamptons, creepier than ever. He’d been doing some serious research while he was away, because he confronted faux-manda about the scar she’d received in foster care that seems to have disappeared!

Let’s just hope something mysteriously happens to him before he reveals Emily’s true identity! Plane explosion, anyone?

Because Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) was the only person who knew Kara’s whereabouts, Emily (Emily VanCamp) sent Amanda (Margarita Levieva) on a mission to uncover more information on the Oct. 21 episode of Revenge. In exchange for David Clarke’s journal, Amanda — with Emily in her ear, as usual — demanded that Victoria give her details about Emily’s mother. Little did Victoria know, Emily wrote in the journal herself, hoping her entires would would make Victoria crack.

Meanwhile, Daniel (Joshua Bowman) and Ashley (Ashley Madekwe) were busy giving a whole new meaning to “keep your enemies closer.” Ashley was working for Conrad (Henry Czerny), and when Daniel grew suspicious of her actions, he used his charm against her. As a result, Ashley quit being a spy and it looks like Daniel will stop at nothing to ruin his father. (Like father, like son!)

Nolan (Gabriel Mann), on the other hand, was becoming more-than-friends with his new CFO, Paloma — even though I’m worried she’s only involved with him for his money. We also saw Nolan’s sensitive side when he discovered his father had passed away and his belongings were to be auctioned off if they were not claimed.

Declan (Connor Paolo) was doing his best to retrieve what he stole, so the owner of the home he burglarized wouldn’t press charges, and Jack (Nick Weschler) also tried to help his brother by paying the man what he owed. However, it all turned out to be a really big scam to obtain Jack’s bar! The man basically stole his own possessions and sought payment in the form of the Stowaway when they couldn’t be found. (Is there something in the water in the Hamptons? Everyone knows how to lie really well!)

One bright spot: In the midst of all the chaos, Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) and Declan reunited!

While Emily and Amanda were back at Grayson Manor trying to make Victoria tell the truth about Kara, Aiden was at the Pine Motel actually talking to her! Amanda’s baby shower was the perfect opportunity to make Victoria talk, and it was a complete hit — with strippers and all the works — until Amanda called out Victoria for visiting Emily’s mother at the mental institution.

In return, Victoria told Amanda that her father was trying to protect her… because Kara tried to kill Emily! After their unfriendly exchange of truths, Amanda just-so-happened to fall over the banister onto the floor! The doctors saved the baby, induced Amanda into a coma, and all of the evidence — the hospital sign-in sheet and the check used to pay Amanda for the journal — against Victoria was burned.

While Kara was searching for Gordon, she heard that “Amanda” had been injured and rushed to the hospital. Naturally, a mother had to show up and check on her daughter, and guess who Emily ran into at the hospital! Unfortunately, Aiden was right: Emily wasn’t going to like what she found.

As if all of that news wasn’t shocking enough, Victoria hand-delivered Kara to Gordon, who’s a member of The Initiative, a powerful organization way above the Graysons! When all was said and done, my “Intuition” not to trust Emily’s mother was correct. More importantly, what kind of mother can’t even recognize her own daughter?!
