Along with The Rock‘s unbelievable victory after 10 years of not being the WWE Champ, and John Cena winning the actual Royal Rumble battle royal, which guarantees you a championship match at WrestleMania. Will this be the start of the two stars battling each other at WrestleMania 29 in NYC?

The Rock mentioned on Twitter after his EPIC win that, “100 years of Heavyweight Champions. 3 generations in my blood. New @WWE Champion. #MyHonor #TeamBringIt”. Not only was he excited, but millions of fans were excited an entertained in this monumental achievement.

And for those that don’t know, the road to WrestleMania always begins on Royal Rumble night, and what was almost, “Once In A Lifetime” may actually happen again! That being The Rock vs John Cena at WrestleMania 29 in NYC. The epic battle originally took place last year at WrestleMania 28 in Miami with The Rock being the victor. But now that both men seem to be geared for a rematch, for what will be much bigger stakes, it could easily be the biggest match of all time.

WWE Main Event, garnered the highest male audience in the last year with the most Men 18-49 (422,000), Men 25-54 (444,000), and Men 2+ (876,000). At 8:00pm ET/PT, the premiere of the new weekly series, which featured WWE Champion CM Punk against World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, was the #4 program in the time period among Men 18-34, #4 among Men 18-49, and #5 among Men 25-54. Pretty impressive!
