Lauren Scruggs (born Lauren Elizabeth Scruggs on July 18,1988) is an American fashion blogger. She has interviewed a slew of celebrities, (including Chase Crawford), for her blog, Lolo. On December 3, 2011, Lauren took a brief flight to enjoy the view of Christmas lights in the Dallas area. When she got off the plane, she walked into the spinning propeller, which severed her left hand. She also lost her left eye. On August 9, 2012 Lauren made her first public appearance, (on NBC’s Today show), since the accident. In 2012, Lauren released her memoir, Still Lolo: A Spinning Propeller, a Horrific Accident, and a Family’s Journey of Hope.
