Jeremy Lin (born Jeremy Shu-How Lin on August 23, 1988 in Torrance, California) is an American professional basketball player. He rose to fame after leading a winning streak with the New York Knicks in 2012, notably known as ‘Lin-sanity.’ He started his NBA career with the Golden State Warriors. He was waived by both the Warriors and Houston Rockets before joining the Knicks for that record season. In 2012 he signed a three-year contract with the Rockets, and he played there for two seasons. The LA Lakers acquired Jeremy for one season. Following the Lakers, he signed with the Charlotte Hornets. Most recently, Jeremy has signed with the Brooklyn Nets.

Jeremy attended Harvard, where he played basketball. He is a devout Evangelical Christian and attributes much of his success to God.
