Bio:
James Woods (born James Howard Woods on April 18, 1947) is an award winning American film actor and producer. He has one Golden Globe, three Emmys, and has been nominated twice for an Academy Award. Like most actors, James began on the stage. He starred in 36 plays before making his big broadway debut in 1970 for Borstal Boy. As a film and television actor, James’ first role was in 1971 for All the Way Home. In July 2015, James won $10 million in a libel lawsuit against a random person who tweeted him.
Best Known For:
James is best known as a character actor who frequently takes on more “bad guy” roles. Some of his films include Casino, White House Down, and The Virgin Suicides.
Personal Life:
James is twice divorced with no children.
