David Siegel (born David Alan Siegel on May 3, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American businessman. He founded the timeshare company, Westgate Resorts, in Florida. His family was featured in the 2012 documentary Queen Of Versailles, as they worked to build the biggest and most expensive single-family home in the United States. However, the project came around the same time David’s company was suffering from the 2008 recession, and the family was forced to give up some of their lavish lifestyle. David attempted to file two lawsuits against the filmmakers of Queen Of Versailles for defamation, but a judge dismissed both claims.
