Bow chicka wow wow. We all know that the Olympics are about sports or whatever, but winning the year’s hottest athlete award is definitely a solid consolation prize if you don’t nab that gold medal.
Silje Norendal may not have placed during her ladies’ slopestyle event at the Sochi Winter Olympics this past weekend, but the 20-year-old Norwegian bombshell sure did gain a new legion of fans for a different reason — she’s a total hottie!

After a disappointing showing at the US National Championships, figure skater Ashley Wagner got a bit of redemption during the team short program on Feb. 8. But not even her great performance could outdo her 15-year-old Russian opponent — and all you have to do is see the look on Ashley’s face to know how she felt about it!

After hitting London in 2012 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016, the Summer Olympic Games will be back in Asia in 2020, this time in Tokyo, Japan!

Although Michael Phelps is an amazing swimmer and athlete, I was so happy to see Ryan Lochte take home the gold medal in the 400-meter individual medley in the 2012 Olympics. He deserved to win and I’m happy he did!
July 28 was a weird day. First, reigning Olympic champion Michael Phelps just barely made it in the finals for the 400-meter IM. Then, in the actual event, he didn’t even medal! Fellow American Ryan Lochte took home the gold while Phelps fell to fourth place. It was the first time Phelps failed to medal in an Olympic event since 2000. It was definitely a shock but I’m so happy Ryan won!

If cat fighting was an Olympic sport, teammates Julia & Lindsey would definitely tie for gold!

Lindsey Vonn, 25, and Julia Mancuso, 25, may both be on Team USA, but lately it seems like they’ve been competing against each other! It’s apparently well-known that the two, who have skied together since grade school, are jealous of one another — but the tension between the teammates intensified when Lindsey crashed during the Giant Slolom event Feb. 24 in Vancouver. Lindsey’s accident, which caused her to break her pinky, also cost Julia her chances at placing in the event. When Julia did finally finish the descent, she fell to the ground and cried.
