Ginuwine (born Elgin Baylor Lumpkin on October 15, 1970 in Washington D.C.) is an American singer. He started his music career as a member of Swing Mob, a New York-based record label and music compound. His debut album, Ginuwine…The Bachelor, was released in 1996. He’s released 9 studio albums over the course of his career and a new album, Same Ol’ G…the Bachelor, is set to drop in 2017. The singer notably made appearances on the NBC series Parks & Recreation.

Personal Life:
Ginuwine lost his parents at a very young age. His father committed suicide and his mother died of cancer less than a year later. Ginuwine married rapper Tonya M. Johnston, also known as Solé, in Sept. 2003. They have two daughters together: Story and Dream. He also has a son, Elgin, from a previous relationship and three other children by three different women. The rapper said in 2009 that he had 8 children. Solé and Ginuwine divorced in 2015. In Nov. 2016, naked photos of Ginuwine were leaked online.
