Bio:
Calysta Bevier (born in 2000 in Grand Rapids, Ohio) is an American singer. She auditioned for Season 11 of America’s Got Talent by singing Rachel Platten’s hit “Fight Song,” and won over all four judges. Simon Cowell opted to push his golden buzzer for the 16-year-old, sending her straight through to the live shows. She is also a dancer and competitive cheerleader.

Personal Life:
When she was just 15 years old, Calysta was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer, which is incredibly rare in someone so young. Doctors removed a four-lb. tumor from her stomach during Summer 2015, and after undergoing chemo, she was in remission by that fall.
