Andie MacDowell (born Rosalie Anderson “Andie” MacDowell in Gaffney, South Carolina on April 21, 1958) is an actress and former model. She was discovered on a trip to Los Angeles, California by a rep from Wilhelmina Models and later on signed with Elite Model Management in New York City in 1978. Andie made her debut film appearance in Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes in 1984. Shortly after she studied method acting at the Actors Studio and went on to appear in successful films such as Groundhog Day, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Short Cuts, etc.

Personal Life:
Andie MacDowell was married to former model and rancher Paul Qualley in 1986. The two have three children together, a son named Justin born in 1986, and two daughters, Rainey born in 1990, and Sarah Margaret Qualley born in 1995. The couple divorced in 1999. In 2001 she married businessman and childhood friend Rhett Hartzog. They divorced in 2004. As of 2013, she is single and currently resides in Marina Del Rey, California.
