Rose Hanbury is the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, as the wife to the seventh Marquess of Cholmondeley, David Rocksavage.
Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, is married to her husband, David Rocksavage, the seventh Marquess of Cholmondeley. The pair married in 2009 and welcomed three children: twins Alexander, the Earl of Rocksavage, and Oliver, Lord Cholmondeley, and a daughter, Lady Iris. They currently reside in the English countryside in Norfolk’s Houghton Hall.
Rose’s introduction to the aristocratic life wasn’t from her marriage, however. The socialite’s grandmother was Lady Elizabeth Longman, a close confidante of Queen Elizabeth‘s until her death in 2016. Rose’s grandmother was even a bridesmaid in Queen Elizabeth’s wedding to Prince Philip in 1947. Rose and her sister, Marina, had also nabbed a spot on Tatler’s prestigious “100 Most Invited List.” It’s a title that suits Rose well, who has been seen at the same events as Prince William and Kate Middleton. Rumors even erupted that Rose and William had an alleged affair, although Lady Rose adamantly denied the speculation.
