Sophie Gregoire & Justin Trudeau — After 18 years of marriage, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau & Sophie Gregoire are officially separating. The couple announced their separation in a joint statement on Instagram on August 2, 2023, writing that after “many meaningful and difficult conversations,” they decided to separate. The statement continued, “As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other for everything we have built and will continue to build.” The couple share three children together – Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien.
