Joe Biden was born on November 20, 1941, as Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. He is best known for his political career, having served as a U.S. senator, Vice President during former President Barack Obama’s administration, and later as the 46th President of the United States.
Outside of politics, he is a father to Ashley, whom he shares with his wife, Dr. Jill Biden. He also has three other children—Hunter, and the late Beau and Naomi—with his late first wife, Neilia Hunter Biden.
On May 19, 2025, Biden revealed he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
