Cristiano Ronaldo & Family: Photos — Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t just an All-Star soccer star – he’s also a father of five. The Portuguese athlete’s eldest is Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, born in June 2010. His mother’s identity is not public knowledge. He welcomed twins Eva and Mateo via surrogate in June 2017. Not long after, he and longtime girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez announced they were expecting. Daughter Alana arrived in November 2017.

The family endured heartbreak in Apr. 2022 when their son died unexpectedly during birth. His twin sister survived. At the time, they released a statement that said, in part, “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We Will always love you.”
