Stars With Rainbow Babies — For those of you not familiar with the term rainbow baby, a rainbow baby is somewhat of a miracle baby. It is essentially a healthy baby born to a woman after she has already lost a baby due to a miscarriage (i.e. infant loss, stillbirth, or neonatal death). The term “rainbow baby” originates from the idea that a rainbow appears in the sky after a storm. And much like a rainbow, a miracle baby is born after a mother has gone through all the suffering and dark times of a tragic miscarriage.

Some stars who have surprisingly had miscarriages and then opened up about their experience have included Nicole Kidman, Carrie Underwood, and Celine Dion. Today, the stars have beautiful, happy and healthy children, but that doesn’t mean their pregnancies did not come at a price.
