BET Hip Hop Awards 2022: See Photos Of Lil’ Kim, GloRilla, & More — The BET Hip Hop Awards, which will honor the best of the best in hip hop music, will air on Oct. 4, 2022 after being pre-taped on Sept. 30. The event will be star-studded, per usual. Up for Best Live Performer are Cardi B, Doja Cat, Drake, J. Cole, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and Tyler, the Creator. Meanwhile, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Drake, Future, Kanye, Kendrick, and Megan Thee Stallion are up for Hip Hop Artist of the Year. Plus, there will be 40 artists performing to bring the hottest hip hop beats to the stage.

Of course, an award show is not complete without fashion, and this year’s red carpet walkers certainly brought their A-game. For instance, Remy Ma, seen above, turned heads on the red carpet in a velvet green catsuit from D’Anthony Designz with a unique U-shaped cape that came around her chest and draped to the ground from the back of her arms.

Lil’ Kim

Lil’ Kim — Lil’ Kim (left) wore a nearly naked look to the carpet, a style that has been popularized this year and has been worn by Bella Thorne, Kylie Jenner, and more. She paired her skin-tight catsuit with bright green Joker-reminiscent hair, which she styled in a fun half-up, half-down look. She completed her barely-there outfit with a seafoam green bag, long, gold earrings, silver shades, and chain-link-covered pumps.

Papoose And Remy Ma

Papoose And Remy Ma — Papoose and Remy Ma held hands as they posed for cameras on the BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet. Papoose was dressed in a much more casual outfit of bleak jeans and a white button-down with intricate black designs on the sleeves. He paired his look with sneakers and a black and white baseball cap.

Dream Doll — Dream Doll looked like she was living Barbie’s dream in a sophisticated pink gown. The beautiful dress featured a plunging sweetheart neckline and a high slit on the right leg. Dream accessorized with a pink fur scarf, a chain link necklace, a bedazzled clutch in the shape of a bird, and platform heels. Her hair was styled in elegant waves that gave a touch of old Hollywood glamor.

Kodak Black — Kodak Black smiled wide in a bright green outfit that consisted of lose-fitting pants and a button-down jacket that was left open, revealing his tattooed torso. He accessorized with several sparkling rings and necklaces.

Tyrese And Zelie Timothy — Tyrese and Zelie Timothy hit the carpet about three months after their dramatic breakup hand in hand. Tyrese rocked a casual combo of army-print cargo pants, a gray hoodie, and a denim jacket he paired with white sneakers. Zelie got dolled up in a form-fitting black catsuit that showed off her cleavage. She paired her look with jungle-themed over-the-knee boots and a black purse.

Fat Joe And Lorena Cartagena

Fat Joe And Lorena Cartagena — The host of the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, Fat Joe, was accompanied by his wife, Lorena Cartagena, on the red carpet. They both matched in purple ensembles, with Lorena in a pants and one-shouldered crop top set, and Joe in a matching button-down shirt and shorts set. He left the top open to reveal a plain white tee underneath and matched it with purple and white Nikes and purple shades.

King Combs — King Combs kept it neutral on the carpet. His fun pans had stuffed letters that spelled out “WOW” on the left leg.

Amina Buddafly — Amina Buddafly looked every bit of elegant in a one-shoulder velvet gown for her walk down the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet. The blue dress featured a slit up the right side and one long sleeve. On her bare arm, Amina donned a sparkling silver arm cuff.

Reemarkable — Reemarkable certainly looked remarkable at the BET Hip Hop Awards! She donned slouchy off-white pants with an extra long off-white vest that gave a peak of her cleavage and torso. It was tied together by a tiny off-white string. She paired the look with white sneakers and a circular handbag. Her bright orange hair brought a burst of color to the monochrome outfit.

Dj Envy — Dj Envy looked handsome in pink for the big night! The DJ, who interviewed guests on the red carpet such as GloRilla and Lil’ Kim, wore a Tom Ford design that consisted of bright pink dress pants and a pink leopard-print blazer. He wore a white tee under the blazer and paired the fun look with white sneakers and layers of silver chain necklaces.

Kamillion — Kamillion, who belongs to the musical group Rap Shi!t, looked out of this world in a super tiny pink metallic dress and matching boots. She paired the bright look with a spherical purse that had sparkling tassels hanging from it and metallic arm warmers and a shoulder cape.

Ice Spice — Ice Spice chose a daring yarn dress for her BET Hip Hop Awards carpet appearance. The dress was completely see-through, and she wore white high-waisted underwear and a bralette to keep the dress from showing off too much. She paired the barely-there outfit with white boots and a silver purse. Her natural brown hair added a jolt of color to her look.

Kim Paige — Kim Paige wore one of the most casual looks at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards. She donned a pair of liquid leather skinny pants, a black hoodie, and chunky black boots. Her red lips and gold watch added a pop of color to the otherwise all-black ensemble.
