Fans were really holding out hope for Channing Tatum and Zoƫ Kravitz, but it seems they might have called it quits.

The actors—who got engaged in October 2023—made their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere of Blink Twice on August 8, 2024.

According to multiple outlets, the two have broken up and called off their engagement.

How Did They Meet?

Tatum and Kravitz first connected in 2017 when she reached out to share the script for what would become Blink Twice and personally scouted him to star as Slater King. By 2021, romance rumors began to circulate as they were spotted on multiple outings together.

What Have They Worked on Together?

The former couple collaborated on Kravitz’s directorial debut, Blink Twice.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on September 3, Tatum referred to Kravitz as his ā€œlittle sweetā€ and praised her dedication while directing her first film.

ā€œThis little sweet. She’s so tired, bro. Every time I wondered if she’d break… she just kept going and going and going. Always on the dig for truth. She poured every single ounce of her into this film,ā€ he wrote. ā€œI’m so proud to stand ten toes down for her, this film, and everyone in it. Forever. Knowing what it took to make it. No one will ever know. Thank you for finding me and seeing me. I got you forever. Me and you back to back against it all. I’ll never blink. Let’s go.ā€

Kravitz also expressed her admiration for Tatum, explaining that ā€œmaking art is [their] love languageā€ and that she hopes to continue creating together.

ā€œThere’s a shorthand when you know somebody so well and there’s so much trust there,ā€ the Big Little Lies alum shared in an August interview with E!. ā€œIt was a joy to work with him, and I think art is the deepest expression of love, so being able to do that with my partner was amazing.ā€

Are They Working on Anything Now?

Kravitz and Tatum are set to star in the Zellner brothers’ upcoming ā€œalien invasion comedy,ā€ Alpha Gang—news that was announced yesterday by Deadline. The Magic Mike star shared the update on Instagram just hours before his and Kravitz’s split became public.

The film co-stars Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, LƩa Seydoux, Riley Keough, and Cate Blanchett, and is scheduled to begin filming in Spring 2025.
